Dusty
Dusty Crum was born in Ashland, KY on May 31st 1980. It was spring break of 86' and one of the worst blizzards in history chasing the Crum family to a much warmer climate in Sarasota, Florida. Dusty immediately fell in love with the outdoors! As a barefoot kid running through the woods catching anything he could get his hands on. Having a passion for animals and dogs that became life-long.
" I had a great childhood in a great school (Sarasota Christian School) we could actually get away with more pranks and fun then at a public school." Dusty played sports constantly in his adolescence." I have always loved competition, me and sports we're a good fit." After high school Dusty started working various construction jobs. " I joined the rat race at an early age and never got to pursue my entertainment dreams."
March 2003 Dusty enrolled in broadcasting school. He had such a natural ability but could not conform to their cookie cutter curriculum. With the real estate boom in effect Dusty bought a house in Myakka City. It was there working at a local dairy farm where he met The Hog Wrangler (Gary Clark). " We started hunting and filming together." The aftermath was the release of a 2010 hog hunting DVD "Cut me if u can".
When Bill asked Dusty to be a part of the Cypress Boys team it was a no brainer. " This is what I was born to do. This is true freedom of expression a tremendous challenge and a killer buzz. I am so pumped about this new series it's unbelievable. This is it, its show time! hold onto it tight, you ain't seen nothing yet."
January of 2013 Dusty Crum was cast by Matador Content to participate in a show called "Pythonathon" a two part documentary for National Geographic Television, about the Burmese Pythons that taking over the Florida Everglades.
