Robert Borrego ’79. Known as the “shark doctor,” has been medical director and chief of trauma at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Palm Beach since 1991. Treats four to five shark bites a year. One of the researchers on a study that analyzed the bacteria in sharks’ mouths to determine which antibiotics fight them most effectively. Was a 2016 Entrepreneurship Center award recipient.
