Hi Josh,
as already discussed earlier today we’d like for you to photograph a “70000 tons of metal” reportage onboard a cruise ship called Majesty of the Seas (Operator: Royal Carribean International). There will be 40 Heavy Metal Bands on the ship which will be cruising to Cozumel (Mexico) spend a day there on the beach and return to Miami. We want you to capture the crazyness and mayhem of the bands and their fans. Here’s a website which has all the infos: http://www.70000tons.com/
You will be sharing a cabin with our writer Alf Bruchardt. We will take care of the bookings etc. and you will be boarding in Miami on the 24th –boarding will start at 12pm. The cruise will end on the 28th and debarkation starts very early –before 8:00 am- and will be swift since they’ll leave for another cruise in the afternoon. Therefore you will have only 4 days of shooting and the 5th days is more of a travel day which we will reimburse with $250.
Your fees will be:
4 days of shooting at $500 per day = $2.000
1 travel day (28th) = $250
Digital capture fee: $150 for the first day and $50 for each consecutive day = $350 (which will include the delivery of 12 hi-res images)
Expenses
You will not be able to bring an assistant with you. Please prepare an estimate of expenses you anticipate.
