Must be nice to be in south Florida this time of year! I'm working on the winter issue of State Tech and have a shoot in Coral Springs I wanted to run by you. It's of the CIO of the city. Here he is:

This is for a feature about localities that have deployed outdoor wireless networks, mainly in parks and recreational facilities. The editor is interested in shooting him in a park, but may not just on a bench. For whatever reason she suggested near a tennis court, though you might see other options too. It might be worth doing just a handful of photos of him with a smartphone, but most photos need not have one.

In an effort to think of something for him to do, I wonder if he has a dog? If so would it be weird to have the dog in some of the photos? If you don't think so, I'll ask him about it. But it should be his dog, not one that's passing through. :-)

Since this is a three-page feature, I'll assume he's a cover option—and as usual we can't tell him. To that end I can send some supporting visuals. The fee, for you, is $1,000 including expenses and print/web/digital use, in context of original use.

I'd like to have the shoot done by Dec. 5th if possible, though earlier is a bonus. Let me know what you think.
