A Lilly Pulitzer granddaughter, Lilly Leas, is to marry Sean Ferreira May 20 in Palm Beach, Fla.
They are a great couple, very adventure loving, world travelers who have done crazy things, two independent people who respect each other and allow each other to grow in their careers. They have been dating a long time and knew each other all through school before they started dating both harboring an attraction they were afraid to act on because they loved each other as friends. Lilly is finishing up her MBA at Florida Atlantic(?), Sean, who moved as a youngster for Palm Beach from Brazil, works in sales.
We're looking for reportage-style images of the ceremony AND reception for a two or three picture package for the paper and slideshow online.

Please take overalls & details that describe the wedding/story. Please show the faces of the couple in some of the images but stay clear of the traditional wedding photos, nothing posed. We're looking for wide scene setting images, nice moments, detail shots and interesting compositions - think of it as telling a visual story of the event. Please also get detail of the dress.

Would love to see the energy of the wedding!
• I have a lit color portrait photo shoot for the spring issue of Biz Tech magazine in Palm Beach Gardens that I wanted to see if you could do. It's of this man:
Ron Rizzi, IT Manager
Ballenisles Community Association
303 Ballenisles Circle
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The story is about "how the community association successfully migrated to Office 365 with the help of SkyKick, which walked them through their entire office/email migration. The shift was prompted by a server that was taking its last breaths as data was pulled off it."

There are a couple of ideas for it, so I wanted to tell you what they are. One would mimic the attached photo, so the art director can put some data on the image. He says this could be done outside, even though the sample attached is indoors. Here's what he says about the idea:
This is the best image I could find to do this on but the same principle applies and that’s to somehow incorporate data in the image post. So the background should be more sky than anything but some environment as well.

There was a second idea discussed in the art meeting: showing him in an antiquated server room or with old computers. I'll have to ask him IF they have any of this before we can determine if this is feasible.

For you I'll do $1,000 including expenses and print/web/digital use, in context of original use. I'd like to have the shoot done by the 20th if possible. Let me know what you think. I need to contact him first before we proceed.

 • Hi Penni, I have a photographer Josh Ritchie to shoot Charles Banks. He said he can do it next Monday or Tuesday or even this week if that works out. Two questions, Can I have him call you or email you about setting up times and dates? And will it be possible for us to have Charles drinking one of his wines at the shoot? We'd like to also shoot the bottle or bottles? Maybe both the Mulderbosh and the Tulbagh Mountain Winery wine. Many thanks. Evelyn cc: josh
• Hey Josh
Glad you can do this for us… Hopefully its a nice sunny day for the shoot. We like to try and get both inside and outside shoots.

Here is a link to past covers

http://www.financial-planning.com/fp_issues/archives.html

We ask to provide plenty of cover options

Loose business portrait, we prefer indoor shots, but please try to provide indoor/outdoor

What we look for is a very strong portrait of the subject smiling looking at the camera in several poses and bringing out the character of the subject. I also ask to be as creative as possible in the style of the shoot. Lighting is KEY!

The pose of the subject has to be more natural then say staged look. Also PLEASE NO HANDS ON HIPS, they never make cover

As for the backdrop or setting, it has to be something that visually and graphically enhances the shoot (NO PLAIN WALLS for example) Examples: the environment, architecture, art, angled walls or corner walls; dramatic staircases or hallways etc; outside architecture or outside landmarks within traveling distance, yet clean enough to place cover lines etc

Please shoot Full Body, half body, mid section. We rarely run tight close ups…

If you could pose sitting in a chair or some other object as well, the chair angled and straight on or sitting on a corner of a table etc. As long as its a cool looking chair and not a computer chair or folding chair.

PLEASE PROVIDE PLENTY OF SMILING LOOKING AT CAMERA, WE ONLY RUN LOOKING AT CAMERA SHOTS (some can be serious, but smiling always wins)

Please no logos in the shoot

INSDIE SHOT:
Im open here to all options on the table, just make it a very dramatic opener shot, single or spread, and please have some sort of architect or environment backdrop that could stop you on the page.

Editors Notes:
Photographers will be provided with details about the subject(s) and the cover story topic to enhance the shoot.
We also try to provide desired locations in order to get images relevant to the story. If we cannot provid

Who / What is story about?: MIAMI HEAT GUARDE DWYANE WADE'S NEW $100 SHOE IS BEING RELEASED NOV. 3, SO WE'RE GOING TO COMPARE IT TO HEAT CENTER SHAQUILLE O'NEAL'S LATEST DUNKMAN BRAND SHOE AT $39.99 AND STEPHON MARBURY'S NEW STARBURY, WHICH SELLS FOR $14.98: This is a story about athlete signature shoes in different styles and different price points. We're asking an orthopedist to look at the structure of the shoes and two high school basketball players to wear them for us and rate them.
_______________________________________________________________
What's Happening at this time?: One of our high school basketball players is Fred Brown, who attends Dwyer High School. Brown will be spending a few days trying out the three pairs of shoes for us. On Monday afternoon, we want him to wear his favorite pair. Please shoot photos of him in his favorite pair for a portrait. Portrait can be of the student playing basketball; going for a layup, shooting hoops
